This place is amazing! On the beach, huge and comfortable room. Absolutely clean! The receptionist was gentle and the cleaning team was friendly. Recommend
We loved this hotel! Perfect beach with cushions right at our doorstep. It's definitely pricey but it's expected for Tulum. Restaurant options nearby are limited, scooter rental available across the road. We went into Tulum Centro for our evening meals, colectivos will take you there and back if you don't want to rent a scooter. We liked it so much we extended our stay. Definitely worth spending a bit more and having access to the beach. Would recommend without hesitation!
When I arrived, they upgraded my economy reservation to a beachfront cabana. Awesome to walk directly onto the beach and see sunrise from the bed. The room was beautiful quiet and perfect. Strong wifi through the hotel grounds and even onto the beachfront. La Conchita is a on sea turtle beach, and the baby turtles hatched during my stay. We got to release them into the ocean. Very special experience!
WOW, this place is a gem. I wasn’t sure what it would be like based on the other reviews but let me just say having travelled to Mexico multiple times I am very glad I found it. Susanna is a sweetheart and just a wonderful person. Emilio is also great - all staff were amazing. The cleaners were spectacular and kept my room spotless and well stocked every day. The hotel itself is situated in a hidden paradise nestled away from all the parties and beach clubs Tulum is known for. It is also very safe in spite of the reputation of the area and the small staff size. The location and rooms are extremely peaceful with the sound of crashing waves soothing you to sleep every night. If you go during rainy season, expect lots of rain and tropical storms with amazing thunder (yes, you will see water come under the door when the wind picks up that is normal here), but also the storms pass quickly and the sunshine is incredible with a constant warm breeze coming in from the sea at all hours of the day. White sand, blue water, palm trees and haciendas on the beach with the best of everything the Carribbean side of Mexico has to offer. What more could you ask for? It’s not a 4 star resort and it’s not all inclusive but part of the fun is there is so much to do in Tulum - eat your way through every restaurant in the plaza or keep it low key and stay on the beach - your choice, I did a little of both and did a self guided tour of the ruins. It is so convenient and close if you rent a scooter but also, very quiet and out of the way compared to the other places. There is a 7-11 up the street open 24 hours and it’s relatively cheap, but there’s also a Chedruai at the northern end of the strip where you can stock up on anything you need at great prices! The rooms are also air conditioned and maintenance keeps everything working nicely. The WiFi is strong and fast enough if you need to do any work or make phone calls over VOIP. No TVs but I didn’t come here for that. if you have kids bring a tablet for the evenings and Netflix should suffice. One of the most amazing experiences I’ve ever had in Mexico - ditch the noisy all inclusive resorts and book your next stay here. But don’t tell anyone
We had an amazing stay at this hotel with my boyfriend, the room was huge and very comfortable, the beach very clean and the comfiest beach beds!! The staff is also super nice and accommodating. We were hesitating at the beginning but after our stay would 100% recommend this hotel, it was even better than another 5 stars hotel we previously booked in Tulum because it’s better located, near many restaurants and shops, while still being quiet at night.
Stayed two weeks ago with my husband. Pros- On Beach, Nice beach no rocks in the water and a little seaweed but its OK. Clean rooms and daily housekeeping. Refill water in the office. Safe in the room. Quiet. Good wifi Good AC Decor very Mayan- nice Cons- Not enough cabanas No TV (though not an issue) Beach Bar nextdoor at Mivida but again easy to go and get drinks from there. Drinks expensive but then cheaper than other places in the beach area. You get what you pay for. Couldn't have stayed there for more than two or three days. The rooms upstairs would be better than what we had. We had the standard room downstairs. I would suggest going to Mivida nextdoor for breakfast. They have a lovely small hut that overlooks the sea and do a great breakfast. Don't go to Potheads over the road. Overall not bad for the money we spent on staying there. We enjoyed our time there.
